We’ve talked before here about the difficulty of finding the right pair of shorts. One problem is that by the time you want them they’re probably sold out or been taken off the shop floor, because of the insane way shops change their stock over from summer to winter in July. Secondly, because getting a good shape and a good fabric in the same pair is rare.

Music, gourmet food and drink and, oh yes, golf were the order of the day at the second Leuka Mini Masters hosted by Dougray Scott. The charity fund raiser, which cheekily bills itself as ‘golf’s 5th major meets the summer’s best garden party’, was won by Gabby Logan (pictured above left with husband Kenny), who defeated a field of celebrity competitors, including James Nesbitt (above right) at the brilliant Dukes Meadows par-3 course in Chiswick. The event, supported by Esquire, raises money for Leuka, the leukaemia charity based at London’s Hammersmith Hospital. [Read more...]
