The Manual – Remove a broken lightbulb from the socket
This week in the manual, we impart the invaluable wisdom that is, the organic way to remove a broken lightbulb from its socket. Potatoes at the ready.
1. Turn of the power to the light.
2. Cut a potato in half and force the flat end into the broken glass of the lightbulb.
3. using the potato as a handle, twist until the broken bulb is removed from the fitting.
4. Wrap in newspaper and throw away immediately.
