We’ve been talking about Brit designer Carolyn Massey for a while here at Esquire. Despite graduating a mere heartbeat ago – in 2005, to be precise – we were quickly taken with her pared-down, no nonsense approach to menswear.
Massey’s latest collection – unveiled at a private presentation during last week’s menswear day – is one of the most covetable yet. A combination of Amish-inspired work wear and colonial explorer-chic, there wasn’t a piece out of place.
Photographer Chris Brooks – a regular contributor here at Esquire – recently shot this short film for Massey, a fittingly outdoorsy showcase for her agriculturally-inspired collection.
To see more of Brooks’ work you need look no further than our beautifully shot “bands portfolio” in the October issue of Esquire, in stores now.
