Photographer Nick Knight maybe as ubiquitous as margarine (he's shot everyone from Kate Moss to Lady Gaga), but somehow Knight, for the past 30 (or so) years, has managed to maintain his spot on the bleeding edge.

Take, for instance, Knight's online creative portal SHOWstudio.com. Launched ten years ago, the site has revolutionised the way we engage with fashion both online and in the real world. No mean feat.

Now, in celebration of the site's ten years on top, Knight is launching a surprisingly backward-looking exhibition, celebrating the beauty of the still life.

But, aha, this is no mere watercolour show. "Florist" will feature a series of physical exhibits and artefacts from the likes of Guy Bourdin and Daniel Brown to be shown in SHOWstudio's Mayfair shop, while live performances by Mary Katrantzou, Stephen Jones and the like will be broadcast online throughout the exhibition's three month tenure.

But that's not all, throughout the exhibition a series of one-off  objects d'art by collaborators including Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto will be added to the exhibition and made available for sale in the shop.

See, told you it was no watercolour show.

"Florist" will remain on show at 1-9 Bruton Place, Mayfair, London, W1J 6LT between November 11 - January 13. www.showstudio.com
