How not to name your fringe act

We’re not saying these performers aren’t funny because, frankly, we’re not overly familiar with their work. And we’re not saying they don’t know these names are totally lame – it may all be an elaborate double bluff. Here’s hoping:

1 Premature Ejokeulation
Ah, penises. Which sometimes don’t work as they’re supposed to. A bit like overly signposted “comedy” show titles.

2 Gagtanamo Bay
Inmates at Gitmo may well be familiar with gags, but probably more of the please-take-this-off-my-tongue’s-going-numb variety.
6-27 August, Royal Mile Tavern

3 Skitsophrenic
Mental illness puns! Our favourite kind. We love them almost as much as the word “skit”, last used circa 1923.
3-29 August, Pleasance Courtyard

4 Spaghetti Lolognaise
Presumably that’s LOL, as in “usually followed by a face made out of punctuation”, which we’re not going to debase ourselves by doing.
