Meet your next ride. Today Ferrari unveiled its most powerful ever road car – the F12 Berlinetta.

Thanks to a 730bhp (yes, that’s a 7) 6.3-litre V12 engine, this long-awaited and multi-rumoured replacement for the 599 GTB even eclipses the ridiculously horse power heavy Lamborghini Aventador in the power stakes.

Ferrari is also heralding the Berlinetta as a technological breakthrough thanks to some ground-breaking engine efficiency improvements and aerodynamic tweaks.

Following similar design cues to the recent FF, rumoured performance stats are clocking it in at an underpant-darkening 3.1 seconds to 60 and a top speed of 211mph (once you clear the speed cameras on the A40 of course).

The full unveil takes place at the Geneva Motor Show from March 8.
