

Take it from us, this Spring everyone is going to be talking about Hit-Girl. The pint-sized assassin is played by 12-year-old Chloe Moretz and she’s the undisputed star of Matthew Vaughn’s superhero comedy caper, Kick-Ass (released on 2 April). We’ve featured some of the stranger and more lavish on this website before but we can honestly say that until yesterday we had never received a Konditor & Cook cake mocked up as a giant bottle of Wash & Go, in celebration of the preeminent all-in-one shampoo and conditioner brand’s 21st birthday. Don’t they say you should never eat blue food?

Amy Williams, who won Olympic gold in the Ladies Skeleton on Friday, has every right to feel over the moon this morning. After becoming Great Britain’s first individual Olympic Winter Games gold medallist in 30 years, she was presented with another prize at a special cocktail party hosted by OMEGA, the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games.
