We don’t mean that in the awful, Ikea way. We’re talking about ‘Soft Block’, the newest works from Japanese company, Torafu architects. They’ve created cinder blocks made from a new material called ‘Fine Revo’, which allows you to create chairs or stools from individual blocks. There’s no word on how the chair will stay together once you’ve assembled it, but it does make for a a great lego alternative for children – big or small. torafu.com/works/sof

The light comes from the bottom of the lamp instead of the top, so your significant other won’t have a constant light disturbing their sleep time.
