This motorbike wants you to step outside

A testosterone-churning, spark-spitting hunk of beautiful Italian metal, Ducati’s new generation Streetfighter 848 is the kind of bike you’d kill to ride, even if secretly you’re a bit scared of rocket-fuelled two-wheelers. The supercharged offspring of the original 2008 Streetfighter, voted the world’s most beautiful bike at that year’s Milan Motorshow, this upgraded 848 is available in the UK this autumn and features a tightly tuned Testastretta 11º engine, incredibly smooth power delivery and a carved chassis designed to deliver balance and agility – handy when you’re leaning into corners at speeds of up to 175mph. ducati.com
