Since roughly 2014, Leonardo DiCaprio has been in a monogamous relationship. Is it some blonde beauty, the type who is paid handsomely to cavort in lingerie, you ask? No, it isn't. Turns out Leo reserves his deepest commitment for a pair of shoes.

Slip-ons, to be exact. Perforated slip-ons. If you've paid any attention at all to the paparazzi-verse over the last few years, you'll likely have seen DiCaprio in them. Here he is wearing them while not giving a fuck:

Apart from film roles and movie premieres, they appear to be the only shoes he wears.

And now, thanks to a journalistic deep dive by the good folks at Complex, we know the provenance of these famous espadrilles. They're from a French company called Rivieras and, unlike most things movie stars put on their bodies, they're relatively inexpensive. A mere $68.

Turns out that for a little more than the cost of a haircut, you too can live the life of Hollywood's true Vinnie Chase. At least as far as your feet are concerned. The rest of you may be stuck in humdrum drudgery, but your feet will be jetboarding across Lake Como, relaxing on a yacht in Saint Tropez, and (unsuccessfully) dodging fender benderswith Nina Agdal.

Sure they're a little basic. But there must be something about them to inspire such devotion from a man who changes girlfriends like we change our, well, shoes. According to Complex, DiCaprio has been appearing in photos with them since September 2014. That's like 8 girlfriends, but just one pair of slip-ons.

You may never get to date a Victoria's Secret model, but for less than 70 bucks at least you can wear the shoes of a man who does. Carpe diem.
