Just within the last few years, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, and Chris Pratt have all gone to space. In the coming months, Chris Pratt will go to space again in two different movies, one with a talking raccoon and another time joined by Jennifer Lawrence for hot dates with robot bartenders. But if there's one thing space can never have too much of, it's attractive people.

Next year, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds will be among the next batch of hot people to explore the far reaches of our galaxy in Life. Directed by Daniel Espinosa (Safe House), "Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars."

Unfortunately for Gyllenhaal, Reynolds, and their fellow attractive space explorers, the alien life they discover is kind of an asshole. Even though it looks like some innocent little plant blob thing, it goes absolutely nuts and grabs Ariyon Bakare in what seems like a rather aggressive way, but could also just be how aliens on Mars say hi.

Regardless, space will get a little hotter when Life is out Memorial Day 2017. In the meantime, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner will also have some exciting conflicts during first contact with alien life—albeit on our own planet.
