Another massive dating network was hacked last month, Business Insider reports. Friend Finder Networks, which operates Adult Friend Finder—an adult dating site that allows users to chat and share explicit personal photos and video—received the brunt of the hack, which came from an unidentified source. Cams.com, Penthouse.com, Stripshow.com, and iCam.com were also attacked.

The hack was 10 times the size of last year's infamous Ashley Madison hack, affecting over 400 million accounts, some dating back 20 years. The information collected, however, was less juicy. While the Ashley Madison hack revealed sexual preferences, photos, contact information, and the presence of Josh Duggar, the Friend Finder hack only uncovered "boring" information like email addresses, passwords, and registration dates. (The Ashley Madison hack also revealed that its users were actively trying to cheat, so there's that.) Regardless, like the Ashley Madison hack, any personal information could be used to extort or blackmail users.

Turns out Friend Finder Networks was the target of a smaller attack—3.9 million accounts hacked—in May 2015. So, you know, be careful online. Here's a good place to start, even if you're not a journalist or public figure.
