Because of an update to Apple's new iOS 10.2 beta software, the new peach symbol looked way less like a voluptuous bum and way more like a normal, boring peach. People started freaking out that their sexts would never be the same—and, thankfully, their voices were heard.
The Next Web reports that in a new release of the 10.2 beta software, available to developers starting Wednesday, the peach got a brand-new makeover. And it looks way more like a butt. Now, when Apple releases its new version of iOS to all users, the peach butt will still remain.
In a world where everything in life seems uncertain, at least we all can find common ground around the peach butt emoji. Now, we can look forward to even more new emojis—like the facepalm, for when you realized you got all worked up over what the peach emoji looked like.
