Today in "Bob Dylan doesn't give a fuck," Bob Dylan doesn't give a fuck about White House invites.

After taking ages to even acknowledge that he won the extremely prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature, Dylan made it clear in November that he also won't be attending the Nobel Prize ceremony because of "other commitments." So President Barack Obama was like, OK, wanna come to the White House then? And Bob Dylan was like, Nah, man.

OK, more specifically, Obama held a meet-and-greet on Wednesday with American Nobel Prize winners, but Obama's top spokesman, Josh Earnest, told reporters before the event that Dylan wouldn't be attending.

"Unfortunately, Bob Dylan will not be at the White House today. So everyone can relax," Earnest said, according to The Hill.

No reason was given, because it's Bob Dylan, and he doesn't need to give reasons to anyone—not even the president of the United States. Gotta give him a hand for staying consistent.
