What's strange is that even though I know every word to "Bohemian Rhapsody" and have sung it hundreds of times, I've never really stopped to think about what the song actually means. And that's something which still to this day is unclear, given Freddie Mercury always refused to explain the song's context, replying to those who asked about the song's meaning: "It means whatever you want it to mean."

So, then, it remains that "Bohemian Rhapsody" could be about some guy who kills another guy—that's at least the narrative that unfolds when actors perform the lyrics literally. A voiceover asks "Is this the real life?" Then the narrator shoots a man before going to his mom's house and telling her, "Mama, just killed a man."

Things get kinda weird during the "Bismillah! No, we will not let you go. (Let him go!) / Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let him go!)" part, which is actually a shoot-out, obviously. Anyway, this is probably not what Mercury intended. Or maybe it is.
