Uber issued a friendly reminder to its users Thursday about the rules, or Community Guidelines, asking users to consider the "Golden Rule"—please refrain from being an asshole while the car is in motion—before hailing a car.

To briefly recap, don't vom in the Uber, don't bring guns in the Uber, don't be rude or violent in the Uber, and don't flirt in the Uber. But, most importantly, don't have sex in the Uber's backseat. Per the statement: "As a reminder, Uber has a no sex rule. That's no sexual conduct between drivers and riders, no matter what."

This actually is the most important rule. Given Uber's ongoing issue with sexual assault and rape in its cars, this makes the guidelines crystal clear, a small but definite step towards making Uber customers, especially women, feel safe 100 percent of the time.

But, also, don't have sex in the backseat of an Uber. That's someone's personal car.
