Once upon a time, it used to be that Coachella attracted the world's most beautiful human beings to its gates.

Well this year, despite Coachella's strong music line-up (not that anyone usually cares about who is performing; this is a festival for the better faced amongst us, not musos), there could be a new frontrunner for the world's most model-drenched festival; Fyre Festival.

It has all the key components of a public fashion show/music festival. Needless to say it won't be in the UK. Fyre Festival is based on a private island in the Bahamas, so sunshine is guaranteed. It is also nearly impossible to attend unless you are extremely wealthy – the starting price for a weekend package is $1,500. That includes your ticket, 'curated meals', accommodation and flights to and from Miami. So if you're travelling from the UK, then you'll need to add an extra £400-£700. Like Coachella, it's based over two weekends – in April and May.

Then there's the guarantee of the young, stylish and beautiful. Just before Christmas, the Victoria's Secret brigade partook in what looks like a marketing campaign to promote the island. Bella Hadid, Lais Ribiero, Alessandra Ambrosio, Emily Ratajkowski and Elsa Hosk all shared pictures on Instagram of them sunbathing, cavorting on jet skis and posing in straw hats. Fyre Island swiftly put up a collage of the models altogether.

The model promotion has since continued. This week, Kendall Jenner announced on Instagram that Kanye West will bring numerous artists from his record label, G.O.O.D. Music, to perform at the festival – so you can definitely expect a strong Kardashian-Jenner turn-out.
