Donald Trump took to Twitter Tuesday night to respond to unconfirmed reports published by BuzzFeed that claim the president-elect has deep ties to Russia and has been involved in "perverted" sexual conduct while in the country.

As expected, Trump deemed the report "fake news."

The 35-page dossier makes various unverified allegations against the president-elect, including that Russia has been "cultivating, supporting, and assisting" Trump for years through surrogates communicating with Russian intermediaries.

Trump responded to the report with an all-caps tweet calling the story a "total political witch hunt."

Reportedly, the dossier was compiled by a person who "has claimed to be a former British intelligence official" and is a "collection of memos written over a period of months," according to BuzzFeed. A synopsis of the dossier was given to both President Barack Obama and Trump, according to CNN.

In addition to the reports of information exchange, the dossier also makes unsubstantiated claims that Russia has compromising "perverted" information on Trump involving sex workers performing various sex acts. Currently, beyond Trump's tweet, the Trump team has not commented on the allegations.

BuzzFeed editor-in-chief Ben Smith defended his site's publishing of the story as such:
