Selling boots that leave imprints of tiny swastikas all over the pavement probably isn't a path to financial success. One would assume, or hope, that swastika-loving neo-Nazis are an extremely small element of the buying public. So it's probably a good idea that Polar Fox, the company behind a pair of boots that allegedly left little swastikas in the footprint, has pulled them from the market.

This past monday a Reddit user posted an image of the unfortunate footprint he made while wearing a pair of James boots with the caption, "There was an angle I didn't get to see when ordering my new work boots", and people unsurprisingly went apeshit, chalking up over 2.7 million views.

A spokesman for Conal International Trading Inc., the parent company of Polar Fox, told CBS2 Los Angeles that the tread's likeness to the symbol is "unintentional and the company was not aware of the questionable design."

The boots no longer appear on the Conal Footwear site, and have also disappeared from Amazon, where they were also being sold. So, tough luck Nazis. Looks like you're going to have to look elsewhere for your hate-mongering footwear (accidental or otherwise).
