Upon completing his first underwear campaign with Calvin Klein, Justin Bieber, apparently awash in pride, sent his photographs to Mark Wahlberg, one of the most iconic celebrity faces in the history of Calvin Klein underwear. "I was like, 'You don't send a guy pictures of this,'" Wahlberg told Conan Thursday night. (Editor's note: What?) "You know, he was proud. It was a big deal for him."

Twenty years later, Bieber ditched Marky Mark's punkish smirk in favor of soulful, sorry eyes and considerably less crotch grabbing. Still, talent begets talent, and Bieber wouldn't be telling the world how he "flaunts" in his Calvins—or he wouldn't be getting paid to do it—without Wahlberg's original campaign.
