Combine La La Land's colorful cheer with David Lynch's surreal style, and you've got yourself an undeniably creepy movie.
A part of Cinefax's "Trailer Mix" series, the trailer shows what the film would be like had David Lynch directed it. Ryan Gosling stars as a ruthless stalker tracking down a horrified Emma Stone.
The clip's YouTube description puts the creator's intent perfectly:
