Have you ever sat down on an eight-hour flight and resigned yourself to being upright for the entire time because - god forbid - you might make anyone else's journey a tiny bit worse by reclining your seats? Even though literally everyone else does it, even the person in front of you?

Of course you have. You're British.

Thankfully, potentially in a bid to get us Brits to upgrade on their long-haul flights, Qantas is introducing a game-changer in plane seating on their new Dreamliner fleet.

Yes, sadly these seats are only available in premium economy but when you see them, you might be tempted to splash out on the next class up.

Rather than just reclining by springing back, the new Qantas seats roll back, down and under in a way that is far less invasive for the passenger behind you. The seats shift in various sections to 'cradle' the body when you recline - sounds comfy amIright? - and leg rests fold out from underneath.

If you're really into all the technical stuff, the seats are also 5.6 inches wider than in economy, have detachable ergonomic pillows (fancy), as well as two USB charging points.

Basically, Qantas has finally made premium economy worth the money.
