Presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway did not have a very good weekend. Not only was she the running gag on Saturday Night Live, but she was also trolled while out at a DC restaurant.

Alfredo Pelicci, a 28-year-old lawyer, was at Lupo Verde and saw Kellyanne Conway and her bodyguard in the hallway. "I walked right up to her and asked her for a selfie," Pelicci told BuzzFeed.

Kellyanne agreed and smiled for the camera. That was the moment Pelicci dropped the hammer: "Say, I'm ruining America!" he said, smiling. To her credit, Conway continued smiling for a few seconds before pulling away and saying, "Happy? You must feel really brave saying that."

Pelicci said that Conway "became a little more agitated" after the video stopped rolling and repeated, "You're so brave! You should be happy!" in a less "professional" tone as she was exiting the restaurant.

Pelicci told BuzzFeed that he pulled the prank because he wanted to "get a message across." And he certainly has. The video went viral overnight.

"This administration is threatening the safety of transgender students, is actively targeting religious minorities, and is tearing apart families that have been in this country for nearly their whole lives," Pelicci said. "They should feel the shame of those actions everywhere they go—and they definitely will in the very blue Washington, DC."
