Tom Hiddleston wants you to stop bringing up his 'I heart Taylor Swift' vest - okay?

The Night Manager star has just been asked whether he had any regrets over "the publicity and gossip the romance engendered" during an interview with The Telegraph.

And according to journalist John Hiscock, the actor responded "testily".

"What should I regret, in your mind? I would rather not talk about this if that's alright."

John then claims Tom paused "with his hand on his chin", before explaining that his work is very separate from his private life - and the two should not be confused.

"I'm just thinking about this," he continued. "Everyone is entitled to a private life. I love what I do and I dedicate myself with absolute commitment to making great art and great entertainment, and in my mind I don't conflict the two.

"My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate."

Fair enough, Hiddleston. Fair e-nough.
