Your time at university is probably filled with a fair few regrets. Hopefully, your degree isn't one of them - but according to a new survey, a huge percentage of graduates majorly regret their choice of university subject.

A study conducted by Emolument investigated the overall course satisfaction of 1800 UK graduates once they were out into the big wide world, and the results have revealed exactly which are the most 'regrettable' subjects to undertake a degree in.

Sorry to break it to you, but it's bad news if you take Psychology at uni. Only 33 percent of graduates obtaining a degree in the field reckon that it was actually worth the time, effort and money.

Second place is a tie up between Fine Arts/Design and History/Geography/Politics, with only 53% of graduates believing that their studies were worthwhile. These are closely followed by Media/Marketing/Communications at 54%.

Good news for science boffins, though. Chemistry and Natural Sciences came out at number one, with a huge 87% of graduates giving their course a thumbs up. Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics, and Business and Finance also ranked very highly in the survey.

It's probably no surprise that right at the top of the satisfaction chart are the degrees pretty much guaranteed to land you a well paid job at the end of the day.

But, if it's any consolation, it's also worth remembering that money really doesn't buy happiness (promise), and job satisfaction counts for a whole lot too. If you're chasing a career in a subject you're truly passionate about, then that's all that matters.
