"Contrary to rumor, I'd like to take a few questions right now," Prince calmly told reporters in the press room after his epic 2007 Super Bowl halftime performance.

"Prince, how do you feel about..." a voice called out from the crowd.

Just then, the sound of Prince's Telecaster filled the room, interrupting the reporter's question. Thus began perhaps the greatest press conference of all time. Writer Allen St. John, who was attending the presser, called it the "greatest rock and roll moment of my life."

Prince, clad in a bright orange suit and flanked by backup singers and a full band (with horns), covered 'Johnny B. Goode' before moving on to his 'Anotherloverholenyohead' followed by 'Get on the Boat'. Rock and roll took over the stage usually reserved for boring Q&As between artists and reporters who may or may not recognise the singer in front of them.
