One of fashion's most famous couples have been ranked amongst the richest husband and wives in Britain, with a combined wealth of £3.437 billion.
But are they really happy? Yeah, probably. Let's move on.
Salma Hayek and French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, who saw their fortune increase by over £1 billion in the last year, were identified as the fourth richest couple in the new edition of The Sunday Times Rich List, which ranks the top 1,000 richest people in the UK.
Pinault runs luxury fashion business Kering whose brands include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. His £8.56 billion stake in the company is enhanced by his wife's wealth, which is said to stand at £75 million.
According to Robert Watts, the complier of the 2017 Rich List, Hayek and Pinault highlight how a single fortune can escalate into billions when wealthy individuals marry one another. "This year's Sunday Times Rich List will show how the make-up of Britain's richest 1,000 people is changing - with a record number of women and more husband and wife partnerships than before," Watts explained.
"Starting a business with your other half may not appeal to everyone. A bit of pillow talk about balance sheets wouldn't suit all marriages, but there are clearly some couples who are making it work - and very well."
Ernesto Bertarelli and former Miss UK Kirsty Bertarelli topped the list of the richest husbands and wives, with their wealth put at £11.5 billion. This enormous sum - which is considerably more than the Queen's estimated £340 fortune - thought to have been generated from the sale of the family biotech business Serono, which earned them £6.6 billion, along with and the soaring share value in a further pharma business, Santhera, in which they have a major stake.
They were followed by Michel de Carvalho and Charlene Carvalho-Heineken, the daughter of late Heineken boss, with a fortune estimated at £9.3 billion. Sir Philip and Lady Green were the only couple on the list whose wealth was said to have decreased over the last year, falling by £433 million to £2.787 billion. However, despite this slip, they are still the fifth richest couple in Britain.
Newcomers to the list include self-made billionaire Chris Dawson and his wife Sarah. Dawson founded the homeware chain The Range and in an interview with The Telegraph last year, he claimed he left school with no qualifications.
