After making a jibe about Britney Spears' mental health earlier this year, Katy Perry has come under fire for a baffling joke about Barack Obama.
In an Instagram Live Q&A, the newly skin-headed Perry said: "Oh, someone says, 'I miss your old black hair'. Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Oh, OK. Times change. Bye!"
Fans took to Twitter to criticise Perry for reducing the former president to the same level as a haircut, and slammed her for promoting herself as being socially conscious nowadays despite saying things like this.
Has it all got a bit out of hand? Undoubtedly. But it's a rubbish joke, whatever way you look at it.
