On Instagram we all fake a life we don't really live, but for most of us that doesn't involve uploading things that bear no relation to reality.
Not the case for Lil Bow Wow, who has been accused of photoshopping his life in this painful Instagram fail. The artist told his 3 million Insta-followers he was heading to New York to do press for his new show Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta.
Of course, this being Bow Wow, he was travelling in style, flying private on a jet and uploading a picture of the plane to Instagram yesterday for all of his fans feel jealous of and terrible about their own meagre economy travel.
But, in a twist of events that restores your faith in the internet, hours after the picture was posted on social media, another image started to do the rounds online of Bow Wow sat on a commercial flight to New York on his phone.
Unsurprisingly everyone on Twitter was ready to roast him for it.
And if that wasn't embarrassing enough, one super sleuth fan may have even found proof the image posted by Bow was nothing more than a screen shot.
In the post, the Twitter user reports she did a reverse search image on Bow's Instagram post and found this almost identical (but unfiltered) image, taken from the website of Fort Lauderdale airport's transportation services.
The actor has since commented on another Instagram post from Tuesday about the claims he flat-out lied showing he has zero time for the haters and was unapologetic AF.
"Half y'all broke mafukkas still can't afford a buddy pass on spirit airlines," Bow Wow wrote. "Stay out the big boy lane."
