George W. Bush, prolific painter, rain poncho wearer, and occasional political commentator, stopped by a Texas Rangers game in Arlington last night to photobomb Emily Jones of Fox Sports. Fun! W. used to own the Rangers, much like his family owned the state of Texas. The ballpark was built as CNN reported in 1999, largely through taxpayer dollars! Bush was also president for a few years. Under the Bush administration, a lot of taxpayer dollars went into a couple of wars. Not that anyone isn't nostalgic.

The Rangers beat the Phillies 9 to 3 last night, whacking 17 hits through nine innings. It was as good a game as any to see live, some 1,300-plus miles away from Washington, D.C.
