If you thought Captain America: Civil War was crowded, the makers of the Spider-Man: Homecoming poster are trying their best to outdo them.

For starters, there's Spidey in his suit and plain old Peter Parker (Tom Holland), Iron Man in his suit and regular Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), and villain Vulture in his suit and his human alter ego played by Michael Keaton. Then there's Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), Peter's love interest Michelle (Zendaya), the villainous Jackson Brice (Logan Marshall-Green) and Stark's right-hand man Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), making for a rather full poster.

And many have commented how – judging by the space awarded to each character – it appears to be an Iron Man film with a Spider-Man co-appearance.

When in actual fact, it is of course Holland's first starring role as Spider-Man after audiences were introduced to his version of the character in a (legit) supporting part in Civil War.

But if the poster is anything to go by, Iron Man's going to be called into action. A lot.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is due for release on Wednesday, 5 July in the UK but America has to wait another two days until Friday, 7 July.
