With Game of Thrones' Littlefinger Aidan Gillen confirmed for BBC Two crime drama Peaky Blinders, we've now got some first-look shots of him in costume.

Gillen is of course best known as Petyr Baelish in the HBO drama, as well as for roles in The Wire, the UK's Queer as Folk and The Dark Knight Rises.

We don't know who exactly he'll be playing in Peaky Blinders just yet, but with a cast that now includes himself and Adrien Brody (plus Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy), it looks like it's going to be an almighty series.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the cast and crew of Peaky Blinders arrived at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley in the Midlands to film series 4 this week.

The third run of Peaky Blinders saw Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) reveal the shocking news that the family were to be arrested.

Murphy previously addressed Tommy's future relationship with his family, saying: "I think his family think that he's betrayed them, and it will be up to Tommy to demonstrate to them that he hasn't betrayed them, and that he has a bigger plan."

Line of Duty's David Caffrey will be directing the fourth season, which is expected to air later this year.

A fifth series has also already been confirmed (yes, before the fourth has even aired), so it looks like the gang will be around for a good while yet.

Peaky Blinders airs on BBC Two in the UK and Netflix in the US.
