If you squint at the photo of Barack Obama and Prince Harry together for long enough, you can almost convince yourself that America is still represented by a savvy diplomat and not a blundering buffoon.

Almost.

The former president was visiting Kensington Palace on Saturday to meet with Prince Harry and discuss their foundations, both casually clad in a suit jacket and no tie. According to a Kensington Palace statement, "They discussed a range of shared interests including support for veterans, mental health, conservation, empowering young people and the work of their respective foundations."

Obama also offered condolences to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Manchester. It's nice to know we have a president, even if he is a former president, who understands the protocol of expressing sadness when a terrorist attack takes innocent human lives.
