Liam Gallagher's appearance at Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert was a surprise to many – especially as it came after Coldplay's Chris Martin had already led the crowd in a rendition of Oasis hit 'Don't Look Back in Anger'.

But if any Oasis fans watching at home were hoping that Liam's arrival meant his brother Noel was also backstage and the pair had finally set aside their difference to perform together again... well, they were very disappointed.

And now Liam is not holding back in expressing his anger that his brother didn't join him on stage too.

"Manchester id like to apologise for my brothers absence last night very disappointed stay beautiful stay safe," he wrote on Twitter this morning.

"Noels out of the fucking country weren't we all love," he added later. "Get on a f**king plane and play your tunes for the kids you sad f**k."

And when one of Liam's followers later joked that "that's the reunion out the window then", Liam hit back that it wasn't about himself or the band, and Noel should have turned up to support the victims.

"F**k the reunion mate it ain't about oasis it's about people helping other people and he's once again shown his true f**king colours," he said.

Liam has previously expressed his shock following the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert last month that killed 22 people and left dozens more injured, and donated the proceeds of his first ever solo gig, held last week at Manchester's O2 Ritz, to the the MEN's 'We Stand Together' emergency fund.

The Manchester-born singer performed a three-song set at the One Love Manchester concert last night (June 4), including 'Rock 'N' Roll Star' and 'Wall of Glass', and was later joined by Chris Martin to perform 'Live Forever' – a song he dedicated to "the beautiful people who were killed and injured in the Manchester terror attack".

Fans were a little more divided over Noel's no-show than Liam himself was, with some agreeing he should have made an appearance and others arguing that it would have taken the focus away from a night that was about the victims of the tragedy:

Others though? Well they were just here the good, old-fashioned Gallagher brothers drama:
