In case you've been living in the Big Brother house or in the Love Island villa, the results are in after Theresa May's Snap Election and it's a hung parliament.

While updating viewers on home secretary Amber Rudd's call for a recount, the reporter accidentally said: "rec**t."

And the mishap didn't go unnoticed by the public – with one viewer taking to Twitter to say: "Oops, slip of the tongue – Laura Kuensburg has just said 'recunt' instead of recount."

Someone else added: "As @BBCOne presenter so eloquently & accidently put it at about 3.30am last night 'time for a recunt'."

"Accidentally saying 'recunt' instead of 'recount' in the same breath as Tim Farron..... more Peak British Political Broadcasting," another added.
