It is Jay Z no longer.

The name change comes as he prepares to release his latest album 4:44, which is out later this month on TIDAL.

A sneak peek of the release features Oscar-winning stars including Mahershala Ali and Lupita Nyong'o, as well as Danny Glover.

The musician was known as Jay-Z originally, before he dropped the hyphen a few years ago.

JAY-Z's last album came in 2013 with Magna Carter Holy Grail.

He and Beyoncé welcomed twins earlier this month, with Matthew Knowles making the announcement on Twitter.

It was back in February that Queen Bey shared the news that Blue Ivy would soon have two younger siblings to play with, via an Instagram announcement that would end up garnering an incredible 11 million likes.

Last year, Beyoncé released the Grammy Award-winning visual album Lemonade, which was comprised of confessional songs that many felt alluded to infidelity on JAY-Z's behalf.

Amid endless speculation about the themes of Lemonade, it was Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles Lawson who gave us the wisest interpretation.

"People make it all about the cheating and betrayal and, yes, that's a part of it because that is something you have to heal from," she explained. "If you really listen to the poetry it is one of hope and redemption and hopefully that can be healing for people."
