Jared Kushner, husband of Ivanka Trump and senior advisor to US President Trump, is usually seen rather than heard. His silence is so striking that Jimmy Fallon even parodied it on Saturday Night Live. And though he does, sometimes, make speeches, they're so rare that whenever he opens his mouth in public, it's an event.

On Monday, Kushner spoke to leaders of technology companies in what were his first public remarks since taking his job at the White House. CBS News reports he kicked off the White House's "Technology Week" to brainstorm how the government can become more efficient.

Typical government stuff, and he didn't address reports that he's reconsidering his legal team or that he's traveling to the Middle East for peace talks. But who cares—Twitter couldn't stop itself from noting that he actually spoke. Believe it! The man has a speaking voice!
