Back in the day, Futurama had four excellent seasons, followed by four straight-to-DVD films, and then another two seasons in 2013. It's been a rocky road for Futurama fans, but it had a good run.

However, in a Reddit AMA, the show's co-creator David X Cohen has said that there's EVEN more Futurama ON THE WAY.

"There are no new TV episodes or movies in the pipeline at the moment… HOWEVER, here and now I promise a different avenue of exciting Futurama news later this summer, no kidding.

"Keep your expectations modest and you will be pleased, possibly. I am not allowed to say more or I will be lightly phasered."

But what could Cohen mean by this? As he says, it's not a TV episode or movie, so what else?

Well, we've already had mobile game Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, so could we be getting a Futurama Telltale Games adaptation? Or a VR game?

Or is Cohen hinting at some YouTube shorts? Or a revival of the Futurama comic book series?

We don't know, basically – but in the meantime, enjoy this compilation of Bender's best moments...
