Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has passed away, aged 41.

His body was found by law enforcement around 9am yesterday (20th July) at his home in Los Angeles, California. It's reported that he took his own life.

Father of six, Chester, had struggled with depression and drug and alcohol abuse throughout his life.

Over 20 years as a band, Linkin Park released seven studio albums — with their debut, Hybrid Theory, immediately placing them as major players on the '00s alt rock scene — as well as five live albums. The band has sold over 70 million records, and is perhaps best known for hits like Numb, In the End, Crawling, and the collaborative album Collision Course with Jay-Z.
