Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hiddleston are teaming up to put on a limited run of William Shakespeare's Hamlet.

The production, which will raise money for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, will take place from September 1 to September 23 at the Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre, starring RADA alum Hiddleston in the leading role.

Branagh will direct the play, making it the second time he's directed Tom (the first being Marvel's Thor).

Obviously, interest in getting to see the play will be pretty massive, so the team have come up with a system to allocate tickets.

If you want to see the Night Manager star take on his third Shakespeare role in theatres, you need to head over here, where you can register your interest.

You can register anytime before 6pm on Sunday (August 6), after which people will be selected at random. If you're successful, you'll be given a 48-hour window to buy tickets (with a maximum of two per person) from August 8-9.

Branagh himself played Hamlet in the 1996 film adaptation (above), and he and Hiddleston seem pretty pleased to be working together again.

The Dunkirk actor said: "The play speaks as loudly as ever to our volatile world and we are proud to have Tom Hiddleston lead an exciting group of actors, as he plays the title role for the first time."

Hiddleston himself added: "Hamlet presents almost limitless possibilities for interpretation. I can't wait to explore them, with this great cast, at RADA.

"Kenneth Branagh and I have long talked about working on the play together, and now felt like the right time, at the right place. To be guided through it by him as a director, an expert and a friend is our great good fortune."

A ton of famous actors have taken on the Bard's iconic tragic hero over the last few years, including David Tennant, Andrew Scott and Benedict Cumberbatch (above).

Hiddleston's stint as the Danish Prince will raise funds for on-site accommodation at RADA so that students can be further supported financially.
