Tom Hardy's next CBeebies Bedtime Story is nearly upon us, and it's going to pack an emotional punch.
The actor's fifth appearance on the children's TV series will air as a tribute to Tom's dog Woody, who sadly passed away in June.
Woody, a Golden Labrador, has featured alongside the Legend star in all of his stints as a guest reader on CBeebies.
The upcoming episode was filmed before Woody died, and will air on National Dog Day (26 August) to honour him.
Tom also brought his "best friend" along to movie premieres and gave him a cameo role in Peaky Blinders.
Woody passed away aged 6 earlier this year. Tom penned a heartfelt message to Woody upon his passing, sharing it with fans.
"To the bestest friend ever," he wrote on Tumblr. "To me and to a family who loved him beyond words and whom he loved without doubt more than I have ever known. Woody was the bestest of journey companions we ever could dream of having. Our souls intertwined forever."
This will be the final episode of Bedtime Stories of the five that Tom and Woody filmed together, with previous episodes airing on the likes of New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
Fittingly, this time Tom will be reading Fleabag, a story about the friendship between a little boy and a dog who needs a home.
Tom and Woody's final Bedtime Story will air on CBeebies at 6.50pm on 26 August.
