Some of John Boyega's earlier work is a world far, far away from Star Wars.

Appearing on last night's (8 Augus) The Late Late Show with James Corden, he was re-introduced to a bizarre anti-drug advert he once appeared in, the zombie-themed Killer Weed.

Yes, really.

"To clear my name, this was a positive thing. It was drugs awareness, trying to get the kids to stay off the spliffs. The concept is if the kids smoke it, they become killer zombies," he explained.

And you can tell he wasn't exactly looking forward to seeing it again.

But, sorry John, we've dug out the full version of Killer Weed for your viewing pleasure. Be warned though, there is a bit of blood.

John will next be seen in Kathryn Bigelow's intense Detroit, which has been tipped as a potential Oscar contender, and then it's the small matter of returning as Finn in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Earlier this week, he praised The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson for bringing a different perspective to Star Wars.

"Being a different person comes with a different energy, a different perspective, and Rian definitely has his own unique style," John enthused. "Rian is just a fun guy. I have a feeling he is Santa Claus."
