Even as Trump's approval ratings have fallen off the already very low cliff they started on, a cadre of his most loyal supporters have stood by him. They've supported him through the rotating carnival of West Wing dramas, through allegations that he attempted to obstruct justice, and through his insistence that some attendees of white supremacist rallies may be very fine people.
But in making a deal to save DACA immigrants from deportation in exchange for more border security, Trump went a bridge too far, and now some of his supporters are burning the most potent symbols of their love: their MAGA hats.
Trump only had the opportunity to make a deal that ensures Democratic backing for extra border security because he repealed DACA in the first place, but this doesn't seem to redeem him in the eyes of his pyro supporters.

One thing's for sure: A world with a little less Trump swag in it is something we can all get behind.
