Olivia Munn has revealed that it apparently cost her money to cameo in Ocean's Eight, the all-female reboot of Ocean's Eleven.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly Radio, the X-Men star explained how she was "so excited" to be asked to be a part of Ocean's Eight, although joked she didn't expect it to lead to her having to tell people it's only a cameo.

Munn's scene occurs during the annual Met Ball, presumably alongside the likes of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna and Sarah Paulson.

"It's a whole scene at the Met Ball and they're like, 'Do your own glam'. I got the dress, all that, and then you submit the bills for it because I'm part of your movie, and they're like, 'No, the bills come right back to you'," she recalled.

Still, Munn remains positive about the movie and added that she wants to go on the promotional tour for it. "That cast, I'm just as excited as everyone else," she enthused.

And really, if you had to, wouldn't you pay to be in a scene with those actors too?

Earlier this month, Paulson told Digital Spy that being on the set of Ocean's Eight was "extraordinary" as she was in the room with so many female stars.

"It was a very empowering place to be – and it was really fun. We have a text chain going that's one of the most epic things. If my phone was stolen, it would be eye-opening! I'm sure I'm just inviting everyone to hack my phone now," she explained.

Ocean's Eight is released in US cinemas on 8 June, 2018 and UK cinemas on 22 June 2018.
