Legendary musician Tom Petty died Monday night at 66 after going into cardiac arrest. His death sparked an outpouring of grief from the music world and from his fans, but one of the most heartfelt tributes came from a member of his own family.

Artist Annakim Violette, the younger of his two daughters, used social media to share memories about her father, People reports. (Petty's older daughter is director Adria Petty, who has worked on music videos for artists like Beyoncé.)

Both while he was hospitalized and after his death, an account that appears to belong to Violette posted tributes to Petty, both as a musician and as a dad. She posted several photos with her father, with captions like, "We are all a mirror of divine love" and "He made all his dreams real."

She reminisced about what it was like to watch MTV as a child and see her dad pop up on screen. "I feel grateful for having the greatest rock star as a dad," the 35-year-old wrote. "These shows healed people."

She also shared that her dad had matching stage clothes made for her as a child. "When I got the call to come to the hospital I grabbed this jacket and I'm still wearing it," she said. "This has been the longest day of my life," she wrote on another photo of herself wearing the jacket.

She posted that Petty's band, the Heartbreakers, arrived at the hospital to be with her father:

Violette also put out a call for privacy during the trying time for her family. "This is a beautiful and private time," she wrote. "I love you, dad."
