An unlikely name has waded into the Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher feud that has been going on forever.

Earlier this week, Liam mocked Noel's new "psychedelic" album with High Flying Birds in an interview with Radio X which saw him pick up – of all things – a poster advertising a cruise with David Hasselhoff (around the 10-minute mark).

While we're just wondering how we can get onto that cruise, Liam joked: "He's more psychedelic than our kid."

And it seems that David actually knows about the little jibe and responded in his own way on Twitter. "Why trash your brother Noel Gallagher of all people & then include me? If Oasis had done a cruise I would have gone ALL the best," he wrote.

On tonight's episode of The Graham Norton Show, Liam again talks about the incident that sparked the whole feud.

"The grudge started when he was about 19 and he bought a stereo," he recalled. "I'd had my first drink that night and got up to pee. I couldn't find the light so I relieved myself over his new sound system. He was livid and that's where it started."

It's even led to Liam's son Gene Gallagher appearing to "mock" his cousin, Noel's 17-year-old daughter Anais.
