Stranger Things has shown us how Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) escapes from the Upside Down in season two.

A new clip released by MCM Comic Con shows Eleven discover a gap in the membrane of the Upside Down (for want of a better word) and use her powers to break through into the high school hallway.

If you need a refresher, Eleven disappeared into the Upside Down at the end of season one after her battle with the Demogorgon.

Following the release of the new trailer, appropriately on Friday the 13th, the Duffer brothers spoke about how Winona Ryder helped to shape the show.

"She was a tough-talking Long Island mom – f**k this, f**k that, a lot of F-bombs – a very different character. So when we cast Winona, we were like, we have to Winonafy this," Matt explained.

"She is so much more interesting than the character we had written. She's got this very unique energy about her."

Earlier this month, Netflix unveiled the episode titles of the first six episodes of season two in a short clip: 'Madmax', 'Trick or Treat Freak', 'The Pollywog', 'Will the Wise', 'Dig Dug' and 'The Spy'.

Another teaser video hinted at conspiracy theories in the upcoming season, with Gaten Matarazzo, AKA Dustin, sharing a clip on Instagram admitting that 1984 was a "pretty strange" year.

Stranger Things hits Netflix on 27 October.
