The upcoming young Han Solo movie will mark the first spinoff feature film for a solo Star Wars character. And today, new director Ron Howard, who took over the troubled project after Lucasfilm fired the first directors, revealed the upcoming movie's title. It's called Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Solo.
Like Han Solo, which is the character's name.
And also solo—which, as Merriam-Webster defines, is "a performance in which the performer has no partner or associate."

Picture a boardroom in Lucasfilm HQ with a bunch of disheveled writers sitting at a table littered with trash from Chinese takeout. One writer stands up: "I've got it. We'll call it Solo. Like, Solo and solo."

Anyway, Howard announced it today to celebrate the wrap on filming. Again, the movie is called Solo.
