In the last decade, we've seen a lot of Taylor Swifts. There's been zombie Taylor Swift, Met Gala Taylor Swift, Hiddleswift, innocent country gal Swift, VMAs Swift, I Definitely Voted for a Non-Problematic Candidate Swift, Brunch Swift, feuding Swift, and now, hell-bent on revenge MAGA-punk Swift—most of which were detailed in "Look What You Made Me Do: A Taylor Swift Retrospective" But the best Taylor Swift is sci-fi Taylor Swift, who returns in her new "...Ready For It?" video.

We've seen sci-fi Taylor Swift before, notably in her squad-based action film "Bad Blood," which featured Kendrick Lamar for unclear business reasons. This version in "...Ready For It?", though, is more of a conglomeration of various Scarlett Johansson movies, including Ghost in the Shell, Lucy, and The Island.

It begins with Taylor Swift walking into some prison in the underbelly of a near future city that's labeled with self-referential Taylor Swift graffiti. Pay close attention if you're a Swift fan who can read Chinese, because there are some important clues here about who she's dating, which is a human male that's definitely not Loki.

Inside the space prison, she has captured Taylor Swift 2.0, who is being held in some sort of translucent cube. Swift 2.0 is a transformer, who has knives for arms and a robot pony. She and Taylor Swift with the hood seem to be acquaintances. But Taylor Swift 2.0 can also do magic, which kills the other Taylor Swift, who is really a robot. I believe it's a Blade Runner and/or Westworld type situation.
