After a bright and brief two-day career, I'm sad to report that Love, aka Brother Love, is no more. During his run he released zero albums and songs, starred in zero movies, and was nominated for zero awards—but he still made headlines on Monday for taking over the enterprises of Diddy.

"I know it's risky because it could come off as corny to some people," according to an announcement on the artist's Twitter on Monday. "So my new name is Love, aka Brother Love. I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers."

During his time, Love, aka Brother Love, tweeted twice—once saying "I don't believe in fear" and a retweet of Ellen DeGeneres with three crying-laughing emojis and "#Love." He posted one Instagram, a photo of Christian Combs—son of the late Sean Combs—performing at ComplexCon with DJ Khaled. Love, aka Brother Love, was also spotted in Mexico with his girlfriend Cassie.

Now, according to a post on the artist's Instagram Love, aka Brother Love, is no more.

"I was only joking," he stated in an announcement. "You can address me by any of my older names. But if you still wanna call me Love, you can call me Love, baby. But I was only playin'."

Love, aka Brother Love will be remembered by his girlfriend Cassie and his friend Christian Combs.

Long live Diddy.
